Ginger Pear Roasted Pie


Ingredients

  • 1 prebaked 9 inch pie shell
  • 3 ripe fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced or 2 cans pears, drained and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. TRK Ground Ginger or 100% Organic Ginger
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. TRK Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325°F. Fill the pie crust with the sliced pears. Whisk the remaining ingredients together until well blended. Pour over the pears. Bake in oven for 1 hour, or until the center of the pie is set. If the crust begins to brown, cover with strips of aluminum foil to prevent burning..
