Twice Baked Potato Casserole

Basil Lemonade


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 2 tsp. TRK California Basil Leaves
  • ¾ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

Preparation

Combine sugar with 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, add basil and let steep 5 to 10 minutes. Strain basil from sugar syrup and discard. Let syrup cool to room temperature and then refrigerate until cold. Combine syrup with remaining water and lemon juice. Serve over ice..
