
Blackberry Brandy Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. brandy
- ¼ tsp. TRK Ground Madagascar Cloves
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
- 1. Cook blackberries, sugar, brandy and cloves in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- 2. In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in the water and then stir into simmering berries. Cook to desired consistency.
- 3. Serve over cake or ice cream or with whipped cream.
