Twice Baked Potato Casserole

Cardamom Pound Cake with Orange Glaze


Ingredients

    Cake:
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp. TRK Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1½ tsp. TRK Guatemalan Cardamom
  • 8 oz. whipping cream
  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar

Preparation

For Cake: Cream butter and sugar with mixer. Add remaining ingredients and cream together well. Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 275°F for one hour. Increase heat to 350°F for 15-20 minutes more. Cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan. Pierce with fork and add glaze while still warm. For Glaze: Mix together orange juice and sugar. Boil gently until a light syrup forms (about 10 min). Cool slightly and spoon onto pound cake..
