
Sourdough French Toast
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. TRK Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1½ tsp. TRK Highland Harvested Saigon Cinnamon or 100% Organic Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 loaf sourdough bread, thickly sliced
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
In a large bowl, whip together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt. Lightly dip the bread slices in the egg mixture. Melt the butter in a medium heat skillet. Place bread in skillet and cook until browned on the bottom. Turn bread over and cook again until browned. Combine powdered sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle toast with cinnamon sugar and serve..
