
Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. black tea leaves
- 2 TRK Whole Star Anise
- 1 TRK Indonesian Whole Cinnamon Stick
- 3 inches orange peel
Preparation
- 1. Tap eggs with the back of a spoon to crack shells, but leave shells on.
- 2. Put eggs in a pot and add water to cover by 1 inch. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- 3. Remove from heat, cool and allow eggs to steep overnight in the refrigerator. Serve cold or at room temperature.
